Scripture

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
— Ephesians 4:31–32 (NIV)

Devotional Word (Spiritual Legal Brief)

Bitterness is not just an emotion—it’s a legal stronghold the enemy uses to keep you chained to pain and poison your perspective. Unforgiveness gives darkness the right to torment, delay healing, and corrupt new blessings. Every time you hold onto offense, you hold open a door for the enemy to operate.

But forgiveness isn’t excusing the offender—it’s revoking the enemy’s access. You don’t forgive because they deserve it. You forgive because you’re not letting hell live rent-free in your spirit.

Today, we break every contract of bitterness, release every name, and close the door to torment—forever.

WAR ROOM PRAYER

Father, in the name of Jesus,
I come before Your throne and break every chain of bitterness, resentment, and unforgiveness attached to my life.
I revoke the power of every offense, every wound, and every memory the enemy has used to anchor pain in my soul.
By Christ’s authority, I cancel every contract that bitterness and unforgiveness have made with torment and delay.

I choose to release every person, every offense, and every past injury into Your hands.
I renounce all agreements with anger, payback, and inner vows to never forgive.
I command every spirit of bitterness, revenge, and torment to leave me now.

From this moment, my heart is covered in mercy.
My future is covered in grace.
And my life is secured by forgiveness.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
