WAR ROOM 022: Prayer to Cast All Your Cares

Scripture:
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
— 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)

Devotional Word (Spiritual Legal Brief):
The enemy’s favorite tactic is to weigh you down with silent burdens—shame, anxiety, hidden wounds you’re too exhausted to name. But Christ already purchased your freedom and peace at the cross. The invitation isn’t just to pray about your pain, but to legally transfer it out of your possession. Anxiety is not your inheritance. Shame is not your portion.
When you refuse to carry what God already paid for, you break agreement with heaviness and enter into the legal rest Christ secured. Your heart wasn’t designed to be a warehouse for what hurts—you are called to cast every weight onto the One who cares for you.

War Room Prayer (Legal Decree):
Lord, I surrender what I’ve been pretending doesn’t hurt.
I give You the confusion, the bitterness, the parts of me I keep hiding.
I refuse to make peace with anxiety or carry shame You already paid for.
Today, I cast it all—even the parts I don’t have words for.
Let my heart be light again. Let Your peace take over.
